squncr - Eight Views Of A Summer
Eight views,
Eight traces,
Eight short trips,
like the surreal archive of an ending summer, somewhere in the southeast of France.
An imaginary place, between the Mediterranean coast and the Alps, between the urban concrete and the lavender fields, where the phantasms and clichés of Provence and Riviera collide with the reality of ephemeral landscapes and fleeting moments.
An attempt to sonically translate mixed feelings and sensations: the dryness of the atmosphere, the violent beauty of the light, the suspended time, all the smells, all the noises and a few shooting stars crossing the August nights.
Eight views of a summer questions the transitory, the momentary, the fugitive, the evanescent… No clear definition, no precise timeline, just scattered and subjective memories of what remains, as summer time is fading away.
