2010 Schedule
Exciting times ahead for the label with projects coming from Hummingbird, Hessien, Field Rotation, Christoph Berg and Emanuele Errante…
To accompany the new look web site we thought a sneak preview was needed for those interested in listening to what’s coming up:
005: Hummingbird – Our Fearful Symmetry
New artist Hummingbird has created a gorgeous selection of elleven tracks that focus on modern classical experimentation. The release will be limited to 100 copies presented in bespoke letter pressed covers.
006: Hessien – Obelisk
Surprising astrologists everywhere, Hessien continue to generate spontaneously out of the ether near the equator, somewhere between Australia and the UK. The most recent occurance being “Obelisk|Remixes”, four new tracks which have also been intercepted in various states of formation by the mighty Jasper TX, Zelienople, Konntinent and Solo Andata.
More prominent on this release is the human voice, represented in snatches of field recordings and overheard conversations, including vocals contributed by Jane Williams. Acoustic tones continue to underpin the tactile electronic arrangements with loops, delays, E-Bow, cello, creaking furniture and low-fi hiss rearing then lowering their heads.
007: Field Rotation – Acoustic Tales
We are extremely excited about the new full album coming up this summer from Field Rotation. Christoph has been working hard in the studio over the last year and the Acoustic Tales project is finally ready to roll. Mixed and mastered by the one and only Nils Frahm and a stunning collaboration from Danny Norbury the album simply oozes quality and is without doubt Field Rotation’s best work to date.
008: Christoph Berg
Christoph is working on something quite special at the moment and the following track is the fourth in a series of experiments to be completed for the project.
009: Emanuele Errante
Italian composer Emanuele Errante has been someone we have admired for some time here at Fluid Audio and are delighted to have him on board. The release will be a full album project available towards the end of Autumn.
